The mAGpie is a parish magazine that is released every two months. It varies from a 24 to a 28 page publication, and contains regular articles, news, events and adverts. I get supplied with the articles and then lay them out into the magazine format, adding relevant graphics or pictures if necessary. I renewed the design and style in 2020. It’s always a team effort, with contribution coordinators, an editor and proof reading roles being vital prior to handing the articles over to me to layout into the magazine. Initially the magazine was produced in Adobe Indesign, but from 2020 I have been using Affinity Publisher to design and layout the magazine.
